In my honest opinion I would suggest having a demo done so you can ask the question first hand. A few pros are that you know pcdmis so the only thing different is a couple added screens that you probably dont use as a conventional programmer, added toolbar (like this because it takes alot of the main buttons that you would use on a regular basis and placed them in one spot), and you can run your conventional programs on the arm with a little debugging. But like i stated make sure that you talk with your local rep to make sure that you arm can be fitted with pcdmis (faro arms have to be so a couple years old for some reason to retrofit) and address your questions to the AE that comes out to the demo.
