Exporting report as a .txt or .xls file

We just purchased some new PPAP software. One of the features of the new software is that it can take the results from the CMM and automatically fillout my ISIR report. In order to this though, I need to be able to export the CMM results in either a .txt file or excel file.

I see where I can do this in PC DMIS. The problem I have run into is that I have certain location dimensions that I take that I only want in the program to double check my alignment, but do not actually want in the printed report. I have these marked as "none" so they do not show up in the printed report. Even though they do not show up in the printed report, they are showing up in the exported file.

Why would this be? What do I need to do so they do not show up in the exported file?

Have you tried just printing to an RTF file and using that? That is really nothing much more than a TXT file. Export options are export options, not "report" options and the NONE/STAT/BOTH is a report option.

UnMark them, and when you Export, use the "only Marked" option.

Actually the RTF is what I needed, I just had to right click on the report and check the text only mode check box and then I get what I want.

If I unmark them, then I wouldn't get the results in the program. I would need to go through and unmark them after the fact,not very effecient.
