Cad issue

I am having issues with my cad file only partially showing! when I change the color of it then it shows the entire part, but as soon as I click on the cad, then some of it vanishes; New PC; windows 7 latest release, with AMD FIREPRO V5900 (FireGLV) video card with 5866 Meg of memory, Computer is a Dell Precision T3600, 8 gyg of ram.
thanks

I ran into this recently. The problem has something to do with OpenGL display lists and your video card. You can verify this by opening the settings editor and disabling the option under the OpenGL section that refers to display lists (setting is something like 'UseGLDisplayLists'). The only downside to disabling the display lists is there will be a big performance hit.

Another option that might help is to try changing the OpenGL tessellation multiplier so that PC-DMIS renders a rougher image (Edit - Preferences - OpenGL). This will reduce the number of triangles used to render the cad model (which makes the display lists smaller).

I have had no luck with PC-DMIS and ATI video cards; there is always something weird you run into. For PC-DMIS you should stick to NVidia.
