I'm wondering if anyone has used a 90 degree angled probe on a Romer arm before?
I have an Absolute arm running RDS and am having a heck of time with this new probe.
I calibrated as shown in the video on the hexagon site and have a residual deviation of 0.05.
I then measured a sphere with the reference probe and set origin on it, then measured same sphere 3 more time with the angled probe and am not liking what I am seeing ( location deviation values of more then 1 mm iin X and up to 3 mm in Y).
I have a call into the tech support but haven't heard anything back in a couple of days.... apparently they are having problems as well ;-)
