Our engineer has created a cad drawing using an actual part from a potential customer. He has come to me with the assumption that there are probably some features that are not as good as they could be and is asking me to tell him how far he is off. How do I do so with a plane for example? One plane's surface is perpendicular to the table but it appears the plane is mislocated in the X-Axis just a bit. How do I tell him where the actual part is compared to where his CAD drawing is? Is there a way to do this by scanning the surface?
