Not sure if exact same as SF machine setup but was told it is the same was just added on this week
Has to be active and connected to PC-DMIS (lower right hand box will say connect) snap shot it is connected

I believe "Portable" category is meant for Romer Arms

Newer versions of the software (2019R1) has this built in to the newest Global we run. CMM installed in Jan 2019.
On the lower right hand of box try "Disconnect from PC-DMIS" and see what occurs would be test.
This light control was an add on and not included as part of purchase of Global in 2015.
