Is there any way to get our Romer to connect to wireless headphones? Some of the guys in the shop are bothered by the squeal of the scanning points down.
WAAAAAAAAA Cry babies. Plug in a set of ear buds on the laptop and see if that quiets it. I don't think it will though, doesn't the scream come from the Romer itself? I haven't operated one in three or four years so I don't remember.
Yeah, it comes from the Romer itself. The romer has an 1/8" jack out, but working with an audio cable wrapped around you would kinda suck... I'm pretty sure these things have Bluetooth, I'm not sure if that's for measurement transfer or for headphones :/
I find the squeal to be comforting. I should hook it up to some big speakers and give them all something to really cry about
At my last job I was into using headphones with Bluetooth because we were inspecting in a noisy environment. It helped reduce distractions, helped the inspection effort and it helped by not being tethered by a cord. It plugs right into the input jack on the Romer arm.
