Probe Calibration

I went to calibrate a probe today and in the RDS Data Collector software it says I need to be an Advanced User...? I click the User Icon and then click on Advanced and it challenges me for a password...? Is there a default? I don't remember this last time I calibrated a probe. I'm assuming it is from an upgrade to the RDS software...?
RDS ver 4.2 and PC-DMIS 2015.something, Romer Arm RA-7530

I have never seen that one. Have you tried to open PCDMIS as an administrator? Just a thought
Are you the only one programming and are you sure someone didn't put a password on?

This is with a Romer so the Probe Calibration is done with the RDS Data Collector software... I'm not even touching PC-DMIS. I am setup as an admin for this laptop in windows.

sorry, that's why I haven't seen that before. I know in PCDMIS you can get the password in settings editor so hopefully someone can point you in the right direction to find where they are stored for the Romer.
Have you tried to restart?

I've calibrated ruby styli and the laser several times within the RDS without ever being told to be an Advanced User. Are you trying to calibrate the 15mm Master? I could see that being password locked.

If I want to use the advanced setting I simply click on the Advanced Tab. The password is Advanced
