RDS Error

Hello,
Our Romer Absolute Arm suddenly stopped communicating with RDS after a server upgrade here. The error message " Cannot load translation table! " pops up as soon as you log on and the RDS icon on the bottom toolbar is missing and when you open RDS Toolbox it doesnt recognize the ARM.
We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software reloading Windows. Does anyone know what would cause this and how i can fix this issue?

  • I have found that when pc dmis does a update it resets the dll file to control the communication from lap top to the Romer Arm.
    You will need to close pcdmis and then search your computer thru windows explorer for this file RomerRDS.dll
    .You should find it in a pcdmis folder like this C:\Program Files\Hexagon\PC-DMIS 2017 R1 64-bit.
    When you find that file copy it and then rename it to interfac.dll paste it into the folder that the RomerRDS.dll file was found in.Then restart your pcdmis and you should find that it works now..you will probably have to do this every time there is an update to pcdmis
