RDS Quick Check

When performing the RDS Quick Check, with the calibrated length bar provided with the Romer arm, is it necessary to get every part of the arm to be GREEN to match the same as shown on screen?
Having difficulty to get everything to turn GREEN to take points as designated.

  • I don't have a ROMER, but logic would state that if you have a calibrated artifact, and you're measuring it, it would have to be "green" (which I'm assuming means in tolerance?), because it's calibrated, traceable back to where the **** it comes from, to the X decimal, blah blah.

    EDIT:
As JEFMAN states, you can just adjust the tolerance, which would make things in, but then you're basically writing down whatever you feel like, and that's Creative Writing, not Metrology Wink
