Is there any one on here that uses a Faro Quantum arm with PC DMIS?
Long story short, our Romer arm developed a problem last week and we sent it in for repair. Our sister company has a Faro arm that they run Polyworks on. I contacted Hexagon support and asked if I got the Faro arm, what would be needed to run the Faro with PC DMIS. They said they needed to add the FARO interface to our lic. They did that.
The Faro is hooked up and seems to be communicating with PC DMIS. When I move the arm around, the XYZ numbers are changing. My current problems is that PC DMIS doesn't seem to be recognizing the Faro probe tip and/or Faro laser.
My question is how do I get PC DMIS to recognize the probe/laser?
