PCDMIS Chaning Features While Measuring.

Hey guys, so I am using a romer arm to calibrate some old fixtures and I have run into the problem of PCDMIS changing features mid-measurement. For example, it will prompt me to measure a circle, but once I take the first point of the circle, it changes to another feature (not necessarily even the next one in the program). Has anyone ever had this problem before?

Thanks!

  • We see that often. Basically the system THINKS you're trying to take a different feature, so it obliges you and then returns back to the one in sequence that you thought you were doing. We've learned to accept this and just go ahead and measure the other feature and roll on. It can be quite disconcerting though!
