manual scan with an absolute arm

I'm trying to run a manual scan on a part that is dimensioned as a profile. The feature in question is a rectangular pocket on a radius. I've done the pull-trigger-and-drag technique around it to create the points. For evaluation, I'm building the FCF for a profile of a surface. How do I know the information, as in the evaluation is correct? It's telling me the profile of this particular pocket is .122 and I'm not so sure that's correct. Laser scanner cant see it so colormap is out of the question.

  • 1) You could take some individual points on those surfaces and dimension them by location or profile to see if they have the same shift as your profile. You can turn on arrows of both to help you confirm the deviation direction.

    2) Confirm something in a similar manner by a manual measurement. (Dunno what size part you are measuring, may not be possible)
