Colour map operator vs dimension colour

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue when using colour maps in PC DMIS 2020 R2.

When i use 'use dimension colour' tick box in the surface colour map box with the same colours set as the colour map profile i get 2 different outputs.

I have attached 2 images to show you what i mean.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this would help to click less buttons when creating colour maps!

Follow up question because there is a difference in colour between dimension colour and operator profile colour.

Is there a way to set the default colour map profile so I don't have to keep loading my custom profile every time I create a surface colour map?

You could TRY clicking the DEFAULT button once you get the colors the way you want them. UNLIKE EVERY OTHER SOFTWARE OUT THERE, the DEFAULT button sets the current as default, it does NOT load a preset default palette.
