I am running a Romer Absolute RA-7 AEI, on PCDMIS 2015, RDS version I'm not fully sure, the news says V4.
So after weeks of fighting with IT and such, they wont let us be admins so getting anything updated or working is a nightmare, I have the arm running again and everything works fine. I go off for the holidays and return to a large assortment of parts because they cant get the arm to work anymore.
The arm will not connect and I see the green text across the screen saying remote mouse disabled. All the reading I've done says just turn it off in the advanced settings, but as it instantly disconnects from the computer I cannot get into the settings at all. The other tricks I have read about also wont work because, well, I'm not connected. I have never seen this issue before so its a little frustrating not understanding how they got to this point nor what to do to fix it. I have restarted everything and as soon as I try to connect again I get the same issue. I have tried to turn everything off and on, but nothing has changed.
Any idea how to force the arm to connect anyway or enable it without the arm connected? Even an idea of where to starting looking as I begin my digging through the user manuals would be great.
