Good morning. I am running PC DMIS 2019.2 on our Romer Arm and have run into issues that I haven't seen before. Issue # 1: I created a new program and imported the CAD. When I clicked the Auto Feature Point button and clicked on the CAD, the "PNT1" label appeared on the CAD surface, with the probe over it (just like it always does), but the Auto Feature Dialogue Box isn't appearing on the screen. The point label is appearing on the CAD where I clicked on the surface, but no dialogue box for me to click "create". I found a work-around for this to make the point info appear in the Edit window, but I've never had to do that before. Problem # 2: When I try to "Save" the program, the save option isn't active. I can't close the program to come out of it and reopen it to see if DMIS corrects itself. I can't close the program or exit PC DMIS. Hopefully there is a default setting that somehow I accidently turned off while creating the program. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like your Auto-Feature dialouge box has shifted off your screen. Sometimes using the 'cascade' function under 'windows' will bring it back onto your screen. I've also had to use the cascade option along the windows ribbon where it shows what files you have open.
I've seen someone mention the ability to correct the dialogue box location through the settings editor, but I've not ever had to go to that length to correct the issue.
