Our company just bought a Romer arm. I seemed to have changed a setting that controls what the buttons on the arm do. When I go to take a hit on a feature I use the middle button, on the hand controller, but its not taking the hit. It was working earlier but I started to hit the other two buttons on the side to see what they do and I must have changed a setting. Can I reboot and the settings will go back to the way they were? Or can I fix it without rebooting? If this makes sense to anyone please give me some feed back. I've been using PCDMIS on a regular CMM for 3 years now but this is the first time I've even used a portable machine.
Are you in "mouse mode" instead of "point mode"? Does the pointer for the mouse move around when you move the arm? If so, move the wrist to get the pointer to the top of the screen and hit the button again to continue taking points.
