I've used PC-DMIS on a 32 bit machine for years and recently updated to a new 64 bit Romer arm. I am having issues with importing models. They will start to tessellate the surfaces and freeze at 1% on large assemblies. The individual components will load without issue.
A sister plant using 2020 R1 can load the same large assembly models without issue with the exact same specification laptop.
I've tried different STEP protocols out of the other CAD software creating the models AP203/AP241/AP242, turned quilts on and off and tried changing the max deviation settings and nothing seems to work. I'm at a loss to understand what I need to do to get the software to load models.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
