Loadprobe from touch trigger to scanner operator still required to change in RDS, WHY>?

On some of the first arms you had to remove the probe to use the scanner.

What kind of parts are you measuring?

very very large parts, with very very new operators. cnc machines parts

im at level 2 class right now in nashville, he said yeah it works. then tried and it was like nope. he did confirm it does work with polyworks, 

Not exactly sure what your having trouble with wed need to see some code.   Usually I'll create my program up the point where I want to switch to laser.   And then just manually switch from the probe to the laser.  The system will recognize u switch and write that part of the code on its own.  Then when I re-run it.   It will just prompt you to switch when your at that point and it's simple as just clicking an ok and then you start scanning.   

But it's nice to work with cnc parts.  Makes for measuring simple and fast when using an arm.   Unless you have very tight tolerances. We did medical parts that were cnc machined and then yes you would want to be using a stationary cmm.

• But for car parts etc. I feel a roamer arm does a great job and can quickly give you feedback especially using the laser. And doing high volume of parts, tesla wanted every single part measured.
