touch or laser? if touch, yeah, not much you can do because no machine control. laser? yeah, right.
Sample hits will increase your accuracy, "pointing" the probe to be as "in line" with the vector of your hits will increase your accuracy, taking hits at a consistent depth will increase your accuracy.
Have a solid alignment will increase your accuracy.
Limiting your expectations for a Romer Arm will increase your happiness.
What type of part are you working with?
Is it manufactured using cnc? Or a punch press etc.?
What are your tolerances?
Are you using probe or laser?
Do you have a cad model?
What type of results are you getting? Example of a measured hole it's reading and tolerance please.
