version 4.3

Is anyone using PCDMIS 4.3 on a Romer arm yet? My computer crashed and I need to reinstall. I was using 4.2 MR1. Just checking to see if there are any know issues with 4.3 and a 3000i romer arm.

Thanks for any input

  • I have been using it on a 3000i & a Infinite for about 2 weeks now. The only problem I have seen is the 3000i loses communication with PC-Dmis sometimes but that is a problem with one the boards trying to die again.

Which "boards" are you referring to? We have been having the same issue with our 3000i arm and version 4.2MR1, and even tech support can't seem to give us an answer. It will stop taking points right in the middle of measuring, then after a short time (15 to 30 seconds), an error message pops up saying there is an "interpolation error" in either the E or F axis.
WinRDS then runs the arm reset, after which, it works fine until the next hiccup.
It will not stop or give the error message using the Romer software (powerinspect).
