Automatically Retry a Measurement?

Hi,

I have a TesaVisio CMM with PC-DMIS 4.3 MR2

I'm using the vision system to measure the OD of a gray circular part in a white nest.

I have a problem with a program in which the CMM occasionally fails to detect the edge as it indexes around the edge of the part. The strange thing is that any time it fails to detect the edge if I simply click continue it will detect it on the second try without fail. Is there anyway I can write into the program an automatic second try?

Thanks

  • I've had the same problem like you. What I know is that it's impossible to retry optical Astonished features automaticaly. It only works with tip measured features.
Try to find this in the upper Taskbar:
Insert --> Programm Flow Control --> with error

But I think it only work at tip measured elements!

( I couldn't change the language of my PCDMIS to english so you have to look for something similar to what I wrote Smiley )
