I modified the calibration of star stylus that is used for calibrate CMM-V angles. I calibrate this new set parameters. When I "add angles" in the CMM-V probe window, the calibration date doesn't change.
I tried to delete star stylus results, and reccreate one, but nothing happens...
2013 MR1 SP3... Delete angles is not enough, you just have to kill the cmm_ve.prb, then recreate it, calibrate optics, focus, and offsets, and it works...
Just an afternoon lost...
If I have understood your problem correctly, I have been unable to replicate this issue in 2013 Mr1 or 2014. When I Add Angles to the CMMVE probe file and select the star probe file, all angles are added correctly.
If i then modify the star probe file & recalibrate and Add Angles to CMMVE probe file, it updates correctly. I tested this by making a note of the tip XYZ offsets before and after Adding angles
Ok, I can understand that you're unable to re create my problem... but the problem still exists !!! What about the date of calibration at the end of the line of each angle in your case ? And which is the parameter that makes it works for you and not for me ?????
As for difference's between your setup and mine, are you using the default probe directory?. Please contact me directly @
