We recently got a Vision system and Hexagon installed it on a computer with Windows 7. It does work but the tech who set it up was having problems with it for a few days before he got it to work correctly. Your best bet is probably to call Hexagon
I am runnning cmm-ve on windows 7 but I am having so many other issues and I am new with the camera so I can not say whether it is me, the camera, the settings, or a software conflict.
They also had a hard time getting our camera up and working. This is a busy setup though I have a Tp2, tp200, SP600 and The camera all set up on one machine. I mostly use the TP2 due to being able to adjust pressure and I have a bunch of parts that are highly magnetic.

It could depends on the video card and itsdrivers... for example, matrox chronos+ doesn't work with 7
