My company informed me of a dilemma at another location. The Optiv PC-DMIS Vision operator quit, and they want someone ASAP. I have experience with PC-DMIS on CMM's Excel 7-6-5 and microXcel pfx 4-5-4. My experience here, while not perfect guru, is many years, and I'm quite confident on delivering what's asked by engineering and inspection. Can I make a seamless transition to the Vision programming system? Anyone on here been asked something similar? Does the core PC-DMIS make it fairly easy, or is there too big a learning curve to be an asset in this attempt to fill the immediate void? Thank you all for your reading and advice.
