I keep getting a "Hit target is out of detection Range for feature error"
Does any one know what I can do to get rid of this error. This is the 4th point in my aligment of a flat part, it is an edge point in the X+ direction, right side.
Part and model are in the normal machine coordinate system. the 3 points on the top worked with some tweeking but the edge points will not work
I am using a CMM-Ve on a Global 9.15.8 PCDMIS 2011mr1 so I do not have a back light. Is there a back light that can be added to a TTP CMM for use with the CMM-Ve system.
I really wish that Hexagon would put the error codes and detailed discriptions of all the buttons in the help files. Time after time
I have a problem and there is nothing listed in the help file that even describes the radio button I am pushing on the screen.
If I remember correctly it has to do with the any order execute...... I think you have to go to F5 and change the number for any order execute to 0. I think that is what I used to do when I ran into that problem, but that was mostly with arms.
I'm not at the CMM, I don't remember exactly the name of the button, but you can choose a parameter (button in point window) which allows to position the cursor where you want the point, and then the CMM search the point. For edges, you sometimes have to change light or parameters (nominal, indicated...)
Thanks for all the suggestions. It seems I just have to work of off the part live.
Every thing sort of works when I pick the points from the acutal part but there is nothing I can do to get this thing to work with the IGS model.
