New to the Vision system

Hello Gents!

While I am new to Vision sysem and the WLS system, I am not new to PC DMIS (maybe I am, only a couple solid years of the demon). We recently aquired a B&S OPTIV 2 Performance (hurray for me, I love a challenge). The set up person didnt hook up the MYCRONA sensor box, so I took the liberty of doing so. After hooking up everything and powering up the thing, the message came across the little screen "Lamp Problem! Change/adjust Lamp!". Now on the surface of it, I know what it means. However, I know that it could be a simple fix as well. I was wondering if anyone could assist me in trouble shooting the situation because I am clueless (HAHA I made a funny, my user name is clueless)

  • I think is the bulb for WLS that projects the light throught fiberoptic to WLS. Even if you dont use WLS the bulb stays on all the time so they burn out quickly and then you get the message on the little screen "Lamp Problem". If you don't use WLS you don't need to replace it. If you want to replace it, the acces is from the back side.
