gauge calibration

Hello,

I would like to calibrate gauge which you could see in attachment together with meaurement results.
On the drawing you could find points which should be measured with Romer in program PC DMIS Pro version 2013.

With red circled I have marked slots on the gauge which should have some coordination in x,y,z but I do not know these values.
I think that these coordination are used for defining alignment.

These gauges are used and during the time shape or some part on the gauge change geometry (material is some kind of aluminium).

On measuring protocol there is one point which have for x,y,z values 0,0,0 - Zero point.

I am beginer with using PC DMIS so I have one question:

- How to define alignment to calibrate gauge?
- Is it possible to calibrate gauge without knowing center point (x,y,z coordinates) of red marked slots ?
- If I have Zero point I know that position for alignment should be in zero point. But if I do not have Zero point in measuring protocol is it possible to locate position
of alignment in space?
Which is the best type of alignment for calibration : Iterative or best fit?or some another?
- How to move alignment to Zero point?

Please send me instructions how to manage calibration of gauge.:
Any advice is welcome.
