Light Source Setting Adjustment Entire Routine vs Per Feature

Hey guys!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Quick question for today. I got asked a question by a co-worker today as they wanted to adjust their lighting for their ENTIRE routine at once instead of each setting per feature to save time.

Is there anyway to change the light strength over the entire routine vs. having to adjust each individual feature already made?

My assumption is the lighting setting is feature specific and can only be changed per feature individually.

Thanks!

  • Hi Anthony, In the later versions of Pcdmis you now have the option of Copy / Paste Parameters. I cannot remember the exact version this functionality was added but 2015.1 and later has this option. If you highlight a feature in the edit window, right click, and select copy parameters, you are then able to highlight multiple features, right click and select paste parameters. This will copy all relevant parameters from the original feature to all those highlighted. If you do not wish to copy other parameters to the features, you can highlight the illumination parameters separately and copy / paste parameters.
    Hope this helps
