R&R Quick-Load Corner & Magnetism

Just seeing if anyone has had the probe error out using the Quick-Load Corner fixture?

The problem that I ran into is that the magnets that hold the vision plate in place, created a large enough magnetic field that wouldn't allow my probe hit to register. I moved my fixture away from the magnetic zone, and it worked great.

What I don't get is that the program I have in this area has been located there for over a year and I have never had any problems with it, until now.

Does anyone know what may cause this? Confused

You mean why it changed or why it happened? Why it changed, I have no reasonable idea. Why it happens, it's built into the probe for probe changes. Magnets disable probes, you need a "Non Inhibit" probe if you need to work around magnets.
  • I understand the solution, but why all of a sudden now when we haven't had problems for over a year or two with the vision plate?
