How hard is it to make tranistion for CMM to vision

I've been working with PC-Dmis CMM for about 15 years.
I also have experience with an OGP vision system (which I hate the software) for about the same amount of time.

Can someone give me their experiences on the transition that I'm going to have going from CMM to an Optiv classic with a TP20 tactile probe and vision capabilities?

We still use an Avant ZIP OGP here in our shop and I use it for very quick and dirty type checks.

My pros list could be much much larger for PC-DMIS. We use a very old OGP and a very out dated version of measure mind however I am trying to convince the powers that be to let us purchase a small version of our Optiv only because the more I learn in PC-DMIS the more I like it and the more I find myself being able to do with it. Not to mention the endless capabilities it has especially after you enter the world of scripting and actually using computer languages like vb.net, c# ect.

P.S I took many of my training classes with Wagner Lee. Small world! Rich Dittman was the gentlemen who introduced me to our Optiv 2z763.
