I just installed an off-line version of PC-DMIS and I am getting "Machine Type not Selected" error message. Can anyone help me fix this error? How does one define a TiP?
If you are running offline and have no machine connected to the PC, try renaming the interfac.dll in the PCDMIS install directory to something like interfac.dll.original. If you have a machine connected where the installation may run online then you need to set the machine type in the Machine Interface Setup dialog under the Edit pulldown menu.
