We purchased an optiv 321 to inspect plugs in our plug cell. I haven't attended training yet, not sure if i'll be going or if someone else is. Machine is still in the box, waiting for Hexagon for the install and setup date. Vision was added to my offline seat today so I have been checking out the new features.
My part is cylindrical so it will be inspected on its side. My print has some concentricity callouts and I was wondering how am going to obtain this measurement. So if I have a cylinder on its side, I can get the diameter of it by measuring a line on 1 side and another line on the other side and get the distance between those to lines, correct? Seems to pretty straightforward. If that feature is a cylinder, how can I check to see if it concentric with the rest of the part if I can only view the part in 1 direction?
