I'm measuring two lines approx 5" long, then measuring the distance between them. How does PCDMIS calculate/construct all the points within each line? Best fit between all points?
What bfire said is true, default I believe is always best fit. Keep in mind though sleepmode you can substantially manipulate where that line is made and what it represents with everything from Vision filters and parameters to what kind of line is actually constructed under the construction menu as well as under Auto Line paramseters.
