Optiv 321 Probe Rack

I have a 6 port probe rack HR-P that we used to use on our CMM. Is it compatible with an Optiv 321 TP? Does the optiv change touch probe automatically? Our CMM didn't. Once it changed probes, would prompt the user to click OK in the message window before proceeding. Operators would walk back thinking the part was finished to find the program still needed some time to run.

Yes, it should be. You need to add and calibrate the probe rack. What did the prompt say that the users had to click OK for? Once the rack is added to your system and calibrated, you can assign probes to those individual slots.

using the rack on our CMM, which has a manual indexing head, (no fun), when ever it would change a probe, right after the change happens and the probe moves to the safe point, a prompt would appear telling the operator something like rotate to tip something. Hexagon remoted in to try and turn off the prompts in the settings editor but it allows popped up.

Our optiv tech said it might have something to do with the manual head. I'm not sure so we removed the rack and we just a star probe.
