pc-dmis won`t initialize

I start the program and nothing happens.
pc-dmis won't initialize.
Down left appers "Ready" instead of "Initializing...".
I reboot everything and still doesn't work. What can I do?

To reiterate what Matt said, double check the ON/OFF switch on the controller in the back of your machine is ON.

and that the power cord is in tight.
