Measured Probe Diameter Error Exceeds limits

I am newer to programing and mostly just use the vision part of my machine. But seem to be having some issues with the Tactile side of my machine.

Half way though probe calibration I get this "Measured probe diameter error exceeds limits." It then will ask if I want to remeasure. After clicking the "yes" option and starting the calibration all over the probe drives into sphere and no longer registers a probe hit.

When looking at the calibration results which I have inserted below... underlined in red.

It says my 4mm probe tip is OVER 11 inches?!?!? Probe is built correctly and labeled as such. Has anyone had this issue? And any ideas on how to fix?

  • Have you performed the calibration cycle correctly? You need to do vision first then the probes.

Vision Probe - Measure ring. Yes ring had moved 1st Tactile Probe - Measure ring. No ring has not moved.
1st Tactile Probe - Measure sphere. Yes it's moved.
2nd (and beyond) Tactile Probe - Measure sphere. No it hasn't moved.
  • The problem I'm having is that I cannot get through the first calibration of the probe in order to later do the cross sensor offset calibration. (vision to probe.)

I have done the Vision calibration. Currently trying to do the Probe calibration then will be doing the Cross sensory Calibration. If I am not mistaken that is the order it must be done in?
