Long story short: Our Optiv 321 GLtp died. We had a 2015 Optiv 443 Classic with Mycrona interface sitting in storage that we resurrected. Hexagon came in and calibrated and setup it up.
Now, I am doing the work on getting it up and going. However, I am having issues with the TP20 not registering hits correctly on the sphere. I am well-versed in Vision to Touch Probe calibration, and YES, I am doing it correctly. I am in the middle of calibrating my second touch probe. It will take about 4 hits around the sphere and it will come up with this error (sometimes hitting the sphere and sometimes not even touching it). It will also keep driving into the sphere until it errors out:
I cannot figure this out. I cannot find any information on the Probe Options and forces for this machine. I cannot access our old Optiv anymore to determine what those probe settings were set to. However, I am thinking this is too sensitive:
I am wondering if there is something wrong with the machine or there is a setting somewhere that is completely messed up. Running PC-DMIS 2023.1. Anybody have any clue?
