First of all I am very thankful to PC DMIS forum for giving this oppourtunity to share my issues with u all..
I am doing offline programs for non-uniform surfaced components with CAD model (IGES). Mostly I am using Linear Open & Perimeter scans for my entire program.
For all the scans I am using below mentioned common settings. Some times I am missing missing these settings (Enabling & Disabling). I want to put these scan settings as default to changing the PC-DMIS setting editor Or I want to write some code before starting the program. Please share your ideas for doing this.
Linear open Scan Settings ---
Exec Controls : Relearn ,
Nominals Method : Find Noms ,
Hit Controls : Vector ,
Probe Comp : Enable ,
Cad Comp : Enable ,
Find Noms Tol : 2 , Only selected : Enable , Boundry type : Plane ,
Crossings : 1 ,
Scan Density : 10 points/mm ,
Scan Speed : 8mm/sec.
And Please let me know in which version I am able to see collision detection exactly???
For which type of components I can use Iterative alignments??
I could believe I will get the solution of my issues through this forum..
