Need help realigning

I am brand new to the program and sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed. Here is my problem.... I was in the middle of manually programming a part and pc dmis shut down... How do I realign my part on my table to the program that is only half finished??
Thanks,
Terry

PS....I have looked through the book and can't find anything... I am sure someone out there knows how to do this. Slight smile

  • I am so wet behind the ears.... I set alignment before the crash. not sure what u mean rerun alignment...

Well you would match your CAD model to how your part relates to your CMM axis (how it sits on your CMM) and then align the part per the print. We don't have that here.

If you lost your alignment, it sounds like you'll just have to start over and re-write the alignment in a new program then cut and paste that alignment into the beginning of the partial program you had going when your PC crashed.

If the alignment features are still there then just mark them and run the program. This will re-do the alignment and you should be able to pick up where you left off.
