Lost Password for "Password Protect" Feature

I unknowingly left the computer unlocked only to find it locked this morning. Need to get in there asap to modify a program. anyone know of a "backdoor" for this feature?

Not sure if you start up in safe mode if you can go turn it off or not. or is this something different then the screen saver password?
