Hi! calibration move points question!

When we do an auto calibration one of the tips is to long and when it rotates it hits the wall knocking the tip off.. is there a way to avoid this? thank you!
  • Yeah - you can use parameter sets to define a set of tips to calibrate.

So you can either tick user defined calibration order, then select the tips in an order which won't hit the CMM leg/bed, then when you click Measure there's an option to create a parameter set (type a name for the set and click Save).

This will remember this set of tips in this order with these settings.

If there's no order which will work, you could create multiple sets, and add move points between the Auto Qual statements. (When you put in an auto qual command, it defaults to ALL_TIPS_WITH_DEFAULTS, but you can select a parameter set here instead.
  • Hi !

I have the same issue with one calibration program. I need to use a move point, but when I insert it, the machine don't execute the comand. Do you know why ?

    Edit :
I forgotten the DCC mode xD Sorry
