Hello! We are in the process of updating the PC-DMIS software version from 2022.1(this was pre installed when we bought the system) to 2023.1. Our internal policies require to do a validation of the new upgrade and one of the tests required is that the new version must be able to open and run any files that are saved in any older versions. We did the training on 2022.1 and had saved some files at that time. Is there any way to get a screen capture of the vesion that file was saved in? I looked in properties and someother places of the file under filemanager but cant get the version of it. Any help is appriciatted.
The version is available in the saved program, but there is no "simple way" to display it currently other than opening it in PC-DMIS. Open your programs in 2023.1, do the validation and save it. That way the program is validated and updated to the latest version?
Another way to check it would be to check the date of the program, if it is earlier than the date you upgraded to 2023.1 then it can't be 2023.1...
