Migrating programs from 6 to 7

The process of moving business from another facility to our facility has begun, and a Leitz running Quindos 6 (I don't know what release) will be part of the move. We already have a Leitz running Q7, so questions and ideas are bound to come up -

How different is one from the other, in regards to running inspections and programming?
In the event a manager has the idea of updating the CCM running Q6 to Q7, can Q6 programs successfully be migrated to Q7, or will Q7 run Q6 programs?
If such an upgrade is done, what are the pc build requirements?
If this CMM is placed on the network, corporate-mandated protocols exist for all networked pc's, including anti-virus softwares. Does Q6 or Q7 have issues with these types of softwares?

There will be more questions, but these are enough to start. Thanks for anyone's input.
