I have regularly problems with these commands showed in title, the same error appears again and again on the screen: "Value too small (possibly two equal points)!"
I can confirm that I'm not comparing the same points (equal profiles)
Can anyone give me the basic rules to use these commands?
the issue is not the comparison between the points/'equal profiles'. The issue is that one of the profiles, either nominal set of APT's or the actual set of APT's, has two or more points that are equal i.e. the same. There may be many causes for this, too high a point density while scanning for your particular machine/probe, radius correction 'issues', ..... You can try the command FINDEQL to remove equal points from a particular APT set.
Contact me via e-mail and I can forward the Quindos6 manual which explains these commands,
