Quindos Work with Variable

Hello Everybody

Who of you uses variables to measure a different parts with one program?
How do you build these programs then, and how do you generate your elements from the variables?

Perhaps someone can provide me with an example or perhaps someone of you has already completed a training course on the subject of Quindos variables and can provide me with the training document.

  • It all depends on what you need to do. There are many ways to manipulate data inside of Quindos. At a very basic level you could use PUTVALS to directly populate elements or if you are using the GENERATE commands you could define REA variables and use them to populate some of the fields. At a more complex level you could use CNVTXT to read in nominal or actual points or even entire groups of objects. If you can explain what it is you need to accomplish I may be able to suggest an approach.
