I'm fairly new to QUINDOS and have just finished getting all the measurements of a part.
I need the true position from the center of a bore (X0,Y0), to a counterbore on the part. (X 9mm, Y 32mm)
I did a ScanOnCircle for the bore and the C'bore, then MECIR and got the DM, X and Y.
The top of the part is datum A, the center of 2 bores are datum B and C with a True position of 0.2(M) | A | B(M) | C(M) | with tolerances on the diameter of the bore (+.016/-0) and the counterbore (+0.22,-0)
The POSITN command puts a very high value when evaluated, and I'm not sure where I should be putting all the tolerances.
we can help out more if you post sample/current code. The POSITN command requires a specific syntax for the datum components.
Prior to executing the POSITN command, in order to take advance of the MMC on the datums, the datums have to be evaluated for DM and the correct nominal and tolerance entered....i.e back in the MECIR of the datums.
