Quindos 7 GEAR

Hello forum

I have a cylinder gear to measure.
Can someone provide me the gear manual from the Quindos 7 gear training course in German or English?
Minimal knowledge of gear measurement with Quindos is available, but I would like to read more about it.

Best regards
Michael

  • Hi all. In order not to start a new forum , I will continue in this one . Our production measures the gearing of the rack and pinion of the steering gear. We have to buy special software for PS DMIS. This is either PC-DMIS GEAR or QUINDOS. Our gear has a very steep involute. Parameter 26 on the drawing. The seller says that GEAR cannot cope with such teeth and will not cane scaning . And it also cannot change the angle of the probe on the same tooth. But QUINDOS is easy to deal with. The cost differs by a factor of two and a half between these two software. Does anyone have any experience with these measurements. Maybe there is an easier way to measure such teeth?
