Read Line By Line Txt file

Hi everybody.

There's a way for read line by line a txt file ?

i would read each line from txt file by a loop and put the lne inside a chr variable , but I don't know the comand for open and read the txt file

Can somebody help me please?

Try this :

LOAPRC (FIL=C:\Users\Temp\Dump.txt, TXT=TXT:Dump, DEL=Y)
CRSUBTYP (NAM=TXT:Dump, REA=Lines)
DO (NAM=Line, BGN=1, END=Lines, DLT=1)
CVTXTCHS (TXT=TXT:Dump, LIN=Line, CHS=~Line(Line))
ENDDO
