How to avoid “only nodal results values are available” issue in prestate analysis?

I requested the output of prestate information to be recorded at the end of loadcase for arc welding process simulation (thermal solution only). The result value transfer for the components of the model indicate that “only nodal results values are available,” which “are not suitable for a result transfer.” Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Hi,

this indicates that prestate files are missing for your result increments. You can check this by right-clicking on results in the process tree and selecting 'Manage results'. Next step woul be to check your Run directory if the SPR files are there. Maybe it's just the result import that failed. You can access your Run directory by right clicking on the process name and selecting 'Open process folder'.
